Swanley Light Opera Group

Swanley Light Opera Group (SLOG) was founded in 1969, and produced their first show in 1970. Since then, the group have established themselves as a premier musical theatre company, performing a wide range of musicals, from Gilbert & Sullivan operettas to some lesser known, more modern productions!

In recent years, the group have also established a very successful dramatic arm, SLOG Players, and have produced a number of plays, performing at Darenth Village Hall in Dartford.

Swanley Light Opera Group have now merged with

The Riverside Players, based in Eynsford.

The next production is the well known musical, The Sound of Music to be performed in the grounds of Eynsford Castle in August 2024.
